Yes we tried the recomended method first. When that did not work we attempted the export and import based on a MS Article we found.

We are working on migrating a SP2007 site to a SP2010. Everything is working except the mysites. &nbsp;It is like the users are disconnected from thier mysite even though the properties of the mysite show the user is the owner. &nbsp; I created a new webapp and userprofile application. Default mysites work fine. I then used export-spweb and import-spweb to export and import one users mysite into the new database. The import was successfull but the user gets Access Denied when trying to access his site. <br />
