Java and Adobe Registry Blocking
Hello, we are looking to block Java and Adobe reader from automatically going out and checking for updates. We have researched it and it looks like the update options are profile specific. So that means that any blocking we do for the users so that Java and Adobe dont go out and check for new updates and give the UAC prompt to update will come back if a different user logs onto that computer.
We are looking for a registry entry to be pushed out through group policy that will block Java and Adobe from going out and looking for new updates so that our users dont get that annoying prompt every day when they log on.
Any help would be appreciated.
