Excel Circular reference error, how to get rid of it?
I have a circular reference and I don’t know how to clear it, Please help.

At the moment the values in column B are calculated using a formula which contains the values in cells B5:B1281. This must be changed to get rid of the circular. Can you explain what you want to do with this formula so that an appropriate formula can be worked out?

I dont pretend to understand what the formula is trying to achieve but the circular reference is clear - you are using column b to calculate using values that depend on column b.
If you turn on iterative calculations - which are needed to resolve self referencing fiels - you will find that all the values ultimately turn to 0 - which is not surprising given that the matrices ultimately resolve to false*true which in Excel terms is 0 * -1.
If you outline what you are trying to achieve it might help

I did just that, deleted it and will try to see why it had this in the first place.
