Foswiki (perl based wiki) on OS X Lion Server

I am trying to host a Foswiki installation on a new Mac Mini server with Lion Server on it. The perl scripts do not execute, so the browser just displays the script itself instead of running it.

I have added the LoadModule line in httpd.conf for mod_perl but this did not work.

Perl itself is working fine as I can type it on the command line and it responds.

Did you restart Apache after adding your mod_perl line?

According to this thread in Stackoverflow:

http://stackoverflow.com/questions/8368902/getting-apacheasp-to-run-in-osx-lion-server

You need to add all of this to httpd.conf to enable perl:

LoadModule perl_module libexec/apache2/mod_perl.so
Alias /perl/ /Library/WebServer/Documents/perl/
<Location /perl/>
  SetHandler perl-script
  PerlResponseHandler ModPerl::Registry
  PerlOptions +ParseHeaders
  Options +ExecCGI
  Order allow,deny
  Allow from all
</Location>

thanks ish,

I found that also, and changed it since there is no perl folder under /Library/WebServer/Documents ...  Foswiki puts the perl files under a bin folder in the webroot so I changed the alias line to be ***  Alias /perl/ /Library/WebServer/Documents/foswiki/bin/

thinking that pointing to where the perl files are would work but no luck.
