Need a flat file backup of Exchange 2010

Hello, it seems that our exchange databases our sitting on a drive partition that is having issues. We are unable to backup the exchange database using windows server backup. We get errors relating to the array controller. We need to fix this issue but before we can do that, we need to get a valid backup of our databases. The only option I see is getting a flat file backup of the databases. Can someone tell me what files we need to backup? In exchange 2003 we just needed to grab the logs, the edb and stm. Is it similar with Exchange 2010 with the exception of the STM since it doesn't exist anymore? Thank you.

what about the catalogdata folders that I'm finding in the same directory as the ebd file itself?
These are Exchange Search catalog's nd should be recreated when the service is restarted.  This is just a backup you are taking right? In which case you don't need to backup the catalog
