I've got a vector image in Illustrator that I export to a PNG bitmap file.
The document contains some symbols and some texts.
However, when exporting to a bitmap, the text fonts are of course scaled to proper size -- which may be, let's say, 7,74 points
However, I would rather like Illustrator to round this off to a font size where there is a bitmap font available -- like 7 or 8 points, or maybe 7,5 (depending on the fonts on my client computer).
Is it possible to make Illustrater do such "intelligent scaling" of texts when exporting to a bitmap format? Or can it be handled in some other way?
An alternative is to remove the text layer completely when exporting, and then open the bitmap in another program (like Photoshop) and add the texts there, selecting a "good font size" -- however, as I already have the text layer in Illustrator, it seems unnecessary to create (and place) the texts again in Photoshop?
