I want to create a simple program into Excel 2003 VBA and use a network located closed Excel 2003 file and write to some informations.

I tried to use some code found on the net but dont' understand why I get an error message right at the beginning of the code.

At the code line "Dim Cn As ADODB.Connection" I get the error message "Compilation error, user defined type not defined" and don't understand what's wrong.

Is anydoby can give me a link to a complete explanation on how to connect to an Excel 2003 closed file and write into it?
