Exchange 2010

I currently use an Exchange 2007 server. I have built an Exchange 2010 server and have begun to migrate my users over. I still have 10 users running off the 2007 server because they are the only users that recieve email on smartphones. I need to know if it is possilble to migrate these new users onto the 2010 server and and still provide the OWA and email delivery to the smartphones. If so how do you set this up? My goal was to move everyone including the smartphone users onto the new server and once everything is working correctly then remove the 2007 server.

Hi,
yes, you can migrate the users with the smartphones to Exchange 2010.
The best way to do this ist to look
here: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ff805041.aspx
and here: http://blogs.technet.com/b/exchange/archive/2009/11/20/3408856.aspx

The role to migrate for this ist the CAS Server.
The good thing in this transition scenario is that you can migrate the users without interruption.

John
Strange How users on Exchange 2010 mailbox server accessing their mail when Exchange 2007 CAS is in frontend.. Move all traffice OWA/OutlookAnywhere /Active Sync to Exchange 2010 CAS. and post that move mailboxes to E2K10. Infact placing CAS and moving all traffic to E2K10 CAS is first step of migration..
