Exchange 2007 / multiple email domains
Folks - I am hoping someone can tell me if this is possible or not.
Setup: Windows Server 2008 R2 / Exchange Server 2007 / Active Directory: company.com
I want to be able to host email accounts for a email domain called helpme.com and create users that can authenticate with emailaddress@helpme.com as their username.
But currently I am only able to authenticate users as emailaddress@company.com. How can I get this server to authenticate users using their emailaddress@helpme.com as the username?
Basically I envision it working where the main domain company.com is really just there behind the scenes. I would like to have users authenticating through whatever email domain (username@domain.com format) they happen to be apart of.
I hope that make sense - let me know if you have questions about the way I described this.
Thanks!
Brian
