Excel Spreadsheet Timer Out-of-Sync

Hello Experts,

Its tricky trying to explain this request. However, here goes.

Basically, the timer in cell AZ2 is out-of-sync. The timer is accessed at various intervals. For example, at 9:14, or 9:19 or 9:24 the timer will be activated and count down for a minute. During that minute the timer will either be out-of-sync with the clock on the pc or it may skip a few seconds e.g. jump from 9:14:10 to 9:14:14.

Is there another another that can be used with spreadsheets? Basically, where is =NOW() taken from?
