I am going to install backup exec 2010 remote agent remotely from media server onto domain controller (windows 2008R2) so that I can do system state backup.

I need to know do I need select Advance Open File Option in order to run successful system state backup or can system state backup be done without installing Advance Open file option feature. This is live domain controller and in use all the time so I am trying to avoid restart of the domain controller. please advise? thanks
