IMA Service not starting on a cloned XenApp server
New XenApp Servers are cloned from a prept VM template (Server 2008 R2 and XenApp 6.5 on vSphere 5).
Config is applied by GPO (RDS Lic Server, Citrix Lic Server, SQL Server, Zone). After server boots MFcom service is in "starting ...." state and as a result IMA service fails to start.

This can also happen if you have EdgeSight agent installed in your base image.

THX for your reply. Server is preared based on the "Prepare server for Imaging and provisioning" chatpter.

From CTX127922:
Stop the mfcom.exe service using Task Manager.
Execute the following commands:
Dsmaint recreatelhc
Dsmaint recreaterade
Start the IMA Service and MFCOM Service.

I'm having the same problem, after imaging XA6.5 with PVS device prep, the image cannot start IMA and MFCOM sits on starting
Edgesight is installed on base image, is this a problem?
I cannot find any docs pointing out Edgesight agent and PVS base image issue you described
Can you provide edoc or white paper regarding this?

you need MS Sysprep and the Citrix "Prepare server for Imaging and provisioning".
You can find the citrix Tool within the "Citrix -Server-Role-manager"
Click "Change Konfiguration" at XenApp.
