I have heard a few months back that Microsoft will be opening up the Xbox platform to HTML5 /JS apps in addition to Silverlight ones as the move to a HTML5 app for ESPN testifies. Since then nothing including on the Googlesphere. Would anyone have any insight about this? Is this really happening? This would make the Xbox a much more interesting platform to develop for as many companies could leverage the investments already spent on other platform using standard web technologies.
