Apache Tomcat/7.0.21 username password not working.
Hi there;
I have Tomcat/7.0.21 coming with Windows XAMPP. When I try to go into Tomcat Manager, I end up with a username password box.
I didn't know the credentials (whether I set it before or not), so I tried to assign/change.
I add the following credentials, yet still the same problem which is:
type Status report
message Access to the requested resource has been denied
description Access to the specified resource (Access to the requested resource has been denied) has been forbidden.
Configuration of my tomcat-users.xml is as follows. What to do? I even don't need to set any credential for this.
Regards.

NOTE: By default, no user is included in the "manager-gui" role required
to operate the "/manager/html" web application. If you wish to use this app,
you must define such a user - the username and password are arbitrary.

Ah, I did that before posting the question and enable a user and password as seen above.
