Event ID 372, Source PrintService, Unspecified Error
I am having a problem with printing on 64-bit 2008R2 box. The error I get is this:
The document %DocumentName, owned by %User, failed to print on printer %Printer. Try to print the document again or restart the print spooler.
Data type: NT EMF 1.008. Size of the spool file in bytes: %Size. Total number of pages in the document: 2. Number of pages printed: 0. Client computer: %ComputerName. Win32 error returned by the print processor.2157500037.Unspe cified error.
Log Name:Microsoft-Windows-Pri ntService/ Admin
Source:PrintService
Task Category: Printing a document
EventID: 372
Keywords: Classic Spooler Event,Document Print Job
OpCode: Spooler Operation Failed.
The printer installed on a Standard TCP/IP port with a fixed IP.
Everyone has Print permission. Creator/Owner has Print and Manage Document permissions.
Stopping and starting the Spooler Service on the server fixes the problem for a while but it reappears.
Operating system on the client is Windows XP SP3
Any help appreciated.
