This was resolved by making a change in group policty to prevent the message from opening in a new window.

When I use OWA to view e-mail, I encounter one issue. &nbsp;When I try a create a new message or a new &nbsp;I recieve the following messgae:<br />

the window couldn't be opened because your computer is running low on memory. &nbsp;Please close some windows and try again.<br />

This is the only application running. &nbsp;The OS is Windows 7 SP1 and I am using IE 9.

When I use OWA to view e-mail, I encounter one issue.  When I try a create a new message or a new  I recieve the following messgae:

the window couldn't be opened because your computer is running low on memory.  Please close some windows and try again.
