I'm having issues with Win 7 pro 64 bit sp1 when downloading files from places like
Symantec and M$.
Disk is SSD,but USB is regular disk to transfer data to.
Comcast cable modem.

The file will appear to hang and then I need to pause it and then restart it.
If it's a large file,I may have to do this several times.

Doesn't matter which  download accelerator (M$,Symantec or FFox)

I have a win 7 pro sp1 32 bit on the same network, but regular disks and I don't have this issue.

disable your antivirus and firewall and try again
further Update your NIC driver if its happening while copying the files over the network only

else you can try TeraCopy

Looks like it was an issue with the SSD getting full.
I deleted a bunch of files and flashed to a later rev of firmware.
Problem is no longer there.
