I'm working on a company website that was created in joomla using a component called "store locator". My problem is the 1pixel black border on the right side and bottom  of the "store locator" map disappear about 30 seconds after showing up in IE8. In firefox it's fine. Anybody know why? Thanks.

what happens if you try to decrease width of map a little bit, say 480px

<div id="sl_results_container" style="width: 687px;">
  <div id="sl_sidebar" style="font-size:12px;height: 386px;">No Results.</div>
  <div id="map" style="padding:0px;width: 480px; height: 386px">Map</div>
</div>
