Greetings,

I have used Cisco WLAN controllers before, but never with repeaters.  Is it possible to use a lightweight radio in repeater mode without a wired connection to the repeater?

I will check it out.  To confirm, you cannot use a lightweight AP as a repeater (un-wired) at all?

No, Cisco Lightweight APs can not operate in Repeater mode at all, unless configured as a Mesh Access Point.
