CRM 2011 - Connection used in the entity level

I have seen articles discussing the use of connection at entities record level, but I have not seen articles that discuss the use of connection at entity level and when to use connection at entity level

Hi tommym121,

Connections can not be used at entity level. Consdier connections as a real world relationship
alternatives.

For example, between 2 records of type account, a connection could be friend, brother, father-son, mother-daughter and so on.
