look here at my file.

My photo has been changed to one of their badges...?
I "am" following them...?

If true, then the only action left is to send them a tweet.

Here are their instructions:
submit an entry by sending a tweet "@Freschetta I'm Rallying For Real Pizza.
Join the #PizzaRally for a chance to win Freschetta Pizza for a Year! ".

They have all of that above in "    " even though there is a period after the word Pizza.

Here were your insutructions:
Post a tweet in your twitter account :
@Freschetta I'm Rallying For Real Pizza. Join the #PizzaRally for a chance to win Freschetta Pizza for a Year!

I've sent two tweets to CNBC. Their's was always using a hash tag #.
What is the proper way to send the tweet to Freschetta?

It says send a tweet @Freschetta.
It says join the #PizzaRally. (That shows a #)

How to do that so I know it was received on their end?

Wouldn't it be sent to @Freschetta
and wouldn't it look like this?
@Freschetta #...........?

If you post the @Freschetta  message the @ prefix will mean the tweet gets notified to Freschetta's account so they can check your image and the message you posted.  The #PizzaRally is searchable separately.

Here are their instructions:

submit an entry by sending a tweet

"@Freschetta I'm Rallying For Real Pizza.
Join the #PizzaRally for a chance to win Freschetta Pizza for a Year! ".

Since they have the entire quote enclosed by "    "

Then am I supposed to send it like this?
@Freschetta I'm Rallying For Real Pizza. Join the #PizzaRally for a chance to win Freschetta Pizza for a Year!

Or just send @Freschetta #(and add some unknown text) ??

I am not clear at all, how to send what they require.

My understanding of tweets intended for a purpose, to a specific department or person had to be after a #.

Who invented this type of communication where one person CNBC, you send to them with a hash #, and now Freschetta you do not?

Totally confused.
You don't need to include the quotes, they want to to include everything they surround.

I think you have the purpose of @ and # around the wrong way.

You just post the tweet

@Freschetta I'm rallying for .... etc

The idea is everyone following you gets the advert as well as Freschetta who can check you've complied with their instructions for entry into the comp.

So, to enter the sweepstakes, I am not supposed to send them a tweet in this form:
@Freschetta #..........

That is wrong and I should leave the #........ off..?
??

Just tweet:

@Freschetta I'm Rallying For Real Pizza. Join the #PizzaRally for a chance to win Freschetta Pizza for a Year!

Just like you posted above

This 5 day event is in the 3rd day.
I've gone to my Twitter account and clicked on who I follow.
I finally get to Freschetta and the ability to send them a Tweet (I am not confident I am doing it correctly).
In the box where it keeps track of the numbers of characters, @Freschetta is already in the box.

I then just add:      I'm Rallying For Real Pizza

Maybe that is what they are asking for, and maybe not.
There are thousands of entries, and unless my name is chosen, I'll never know if I am sending them what they want.
All you do is change the icon for your account and tweet the text, just search @Freschetta and you can see pretty quickly those that have met the contest requirements.  Looks like there are around three different icons to use with most entrants using the green version.  After that it's a simple lottery.

Well, on the 20th we'll have to do this twitter thing again. They'll ask two questions, between 7pm and 9pm.

Now, if they are supposed to be "following me," since I am following them and have sent them Tweets, I see no evidence that they are following me.

If I answer the questions correctly, (and I am sure they are very simple questions about their products) since there is no "confirmation" of what I sent, I'll still be less than 100% confident I know how to use Twitter.
