Hi.

Im developing a chat for an Android app, and i am using the aSMACK library, the one used for Android. Im trying to open the debug, because I can connect correctly, and the send method does not launch any exception, but there is no response. The only thing I need is to activate the debugger!.

 My code:

protected void onCreate(Bundle savedInstanceState) {

		super.onCreate(savedInstanceState);
		setContentView(R.layout.chatlayout);
		XMPPConnection.DEBUG_ENABLED = true;
		BOSHConnection.DEBUG_ENABLED = true;
		ConnectionConfiguration conconfig = new ConnectionConfiguration("talk.google.com", 5222);
		conconfig.setDebuggerEnabled(true);

		final XMPPConnection con=new XMPPConnection(conconfig);

Open in new window

Any help? thank you.

What IDE are you developing in? If you use IDEA it is very simple to use debugger on either the real phone or emulator.

I am using Eclipse. I have debugged with Eclipse, but it doesn't allow me to watch the traffic sent and received.

I was able to finally develop my app without debugging traffic, but thank you very much for your help, anyway.
