Good perferably free SMS alerting system for IT servers/router/etc.
I am looking for a monitoring system that is preferrably free, but doesnt need to be free.

I'm looking to monitor some servers/workstations to make sure they are running and not frozen or anything. I also want to be able to get alerted if our internet line goes down this might have to be something that an outside service has to do because if its down how does a message get out?

Microsoft also produces server technologies for networked database use, security and virtualization.
