I want the best solution to host my Web application?

Hi,
I am intending to develop a web application using SQL server 2008 as my DB and ASP. Net 4 with C#. My application will contain one-on-one  connection chatting and audio for registered users only.

I want to examine how tohost my application and write down the best solution that can be utilized without drawbacks or defects. So is there any solution or even a good service provider that could carry out my project?

I wear a lot of hats...

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

You need to first try this in your Machines ISS (guess you are using Windows Ofc) .. Use NoIP to have an free IP for your machine. NoIP will generate a http:\\ path for the website you are hosting locally ...you can distribute the path to others to test your application or try in Internat.

This IP is a constant so you will have no probloem using this as your connection string.

I mean do I have to tell the hosting provider that I have to use in my application (Chatting, video conference between registered users in my site, paypal, etc...)
Or I just develop the application on Asp and C#, then choose any host provider?

You do not need to discuss or tell anything to them if you are sure that the platform they are providing is sufficient for you to host all the files and perform the required functions / actions.

This is none of their business ... by subscribing or purchasing their service you are the owner of all the activities you are performing , they are not liable for that as well.

Hope this is clear now. Please ask for further doubt on this. Thanks.
