Hi,

I have recently been watching a lot of tekpub videos and one of which described in an ideal world, resource permitting we'd be able to cache a whole database for speed purposes.

On a smaller db resource wouldn;t be an issue but I'm just wondering how a server crash would be handled...

Would any data new data be lost?

As you can prob tell I've not done much with caching.

I'm talking about .net 4 by the way.

Can you elaborate a bit more. What caching are we talking about? ASP.NET caching? If server crashes and you have cache dependency on server then I would think that it would fail.
