but wrong DNS record could misroute the RPC.<br />
so please check that both DC use the same DNS - (as you wrote they are sitting in the same place anyway)<br />

I have an issue with two servers that are reporting 1722 the RPC server is unavailable when I run repadmin /ReplSum.
