Hello,

I am using MS Visio > Business > Organization Chart. I have almost 250 tasks with tree structure and I choose Visio to make it presentable but now I think it wasn't right chose, as I input each value manually from Excel + in Visio I need to size shape and text block manually as well. Also it is hard to be precise and the end result looks untidy.
My question is: Is there VBA macros which could help me? or Is there a software which could help me make tree structure chart with shapes with data exported from Excel?

Thanks

The Visio org chart add-in is actually quite flexible and contains quite a few spacing and layout options -- however, not all of them are easy to find.

In Visio 2010, click the Org Chart tab. On the left end, you'll find a variety of different layout styles you can apply. On the right end, in the Organization Data group, click the Display Options button. On the Option tab you can set the height and width of all shapes at once. Take a look at the options on the Fields and Text tabs too.

Also, don't forget that you can apply themes to add color and style and really make your org chart look nice.
