My maxtor one touch backup program will no longer run automatically at a preset time each day.  Also when I do a manual backp up it says "Backup has been completed, but with errors"   343 files complted
               827 MB copied.

I have run a built in drive test---says all is well.  Have checked and have latest software backup program from maxtor.  This is a backup program(Maxtor One Touch 4-Lite) for a Maxtor one touch external usb drive.   Please help.  How do i solve the error issue?

If this will no longer run at a preset time, then either the scheduler is faulty or the command line that the scheduler runs won't launch or fails.  You need to let us know which.  When you do a manual backup, if it states that there are errors, then these must be noted somewhere.  Check the application logs directory or the Windows event logs.

Right now, you're giving us no real idea of what the problem is.  Can't help more than to ask for a problem definition at this time.

Thanks for the perspective--- I am away from the work location where this is located until Monday 3-19-12.  Will follow your suggestions then.   Thanks.
