asked on Desktop Experience failed to be turned on status 0x80071a90
We are having an issue installing the desktop experience on a terminal server. We consistantly get this error: "update desktopexperience of package desktopexperience failed to be turned on status 0x80071a90".
We have done the following:
1. Installed all windows updates
2. Uninstalled antivirus
3. Ran the system file check (sfc /scannow), and it did not find any errors
I am out of options.
I have another terminal server that I installed this same feature and it installed just fine.
Can I install this manually? I REALLY need this feature
