Probably best to re-create the MAPI profile

Check this out
http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB10285

There is a known issue with BES and SBS and some missing registry entries.... check this out too

I tried to re-create the MAPI profile using the KB10285 but when I Click on Edit MAPI Profile under blackberry Server Configuration then I get this,

MAPIInitialize (80004005)
---------------------------
Ok
----------------------------

---------------------------
BlackBerry Server Configuration
---------------------------
The MAPI subsystem cannot be correctly initialized and used. Please make sure MAPI is installed and configured properly.

OK

I even tried the other link but I did not find that key under dca and later I found this.
http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Professional-Software/Another-001e6602-thread/td-p/488274

But now I have deleted the profiles by following the KB10285 and unfortunately I dint take the backup registry.
So,no profiles at present.

What does it mean to be "Always On"?

Is your cloud always on? With an Always On cloud you won't have to worry about downtime for maintenance or software application code updates, ensuring that your bottom line isn't affected.

So was this set up ever working or is this a new install?
Are you logged into the server as the BesAdmin account (or the non administrator account that was used to install BES)

Yes this was working fine till 2012/03/07.
The only changed happened on the server on that day was Hotfix 158028 Symantic backup was installed.
But I am not sure if this caused the issue.
Yes,logged in under BESAdmin account.

So you no longer have any mapi profiles on the server?
Does exchange work? Can you get into the emc?

SriHarsha KTechnical Services SpecialistAuthor Commented:
Yes Exchange works with out any issues.
No MAPI profiles on the server.

You can try creating a new mapi profile and then edit the mapi profile for bes

Hi Doertalk,

Firstly, remove the existing Exchange MAPI Client and CDO Tools. Download the latest version from here: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=1004 and install it instead.

Next, open the BlackBerry Server configuration tool and click on the Edit MAPI profile button under the BlackBerry Server tab. If you put in the BESAdmin account name and the Exchange server, when you click to Check Name, the system should verify the details for you. If it fails at this point then there is an underlying issue that needs to be resolved first.

Let me know how you get on.

Mike

@ Thorrsson
I am not able to create a new mapi profile as it gives the same error all the time.

@ NimeshPanchal.
Tried that but no luck.. Unable to EDIT MAPI Profile with MAPIInitialize (80004005)

@ MikeTheRelic
I did download the Mapi and CDO 1.2.1 but still facing the same issue.
------------------------------------------------------------------------

For this,
Failed to read 001e6602 reg value from the BlackBerry MAPI profile,I found the below KB,which asks for re-installation.
http://btsc.webapps.blackberry.com/btsc/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB19074

Coz the Messaging Agent was crashed for almost 15days now. So,we are planing to go head with the re-installation.
Will update you soon.

Thank you experts for spending your valuable time.
