Building a universe in BOBJ

I need to build a universe in BOBJ after developing a query for a family of reports.  This will be the first task I will be given on a work assignment I am about to start and I have never done this.  My work experience is in Crystal Reports but I have no knowledge of universes.  Can someone suggest how to go about this, or a source where I can learn what I need? Thank you!

DISCLAIMER: I know nothing about this stuff, but this should give you a start: http://homepage.cs.uri.edu/faculty/hamel/obj/objq.pdf

I hate to say this, but you might want to consider doing a Google search for BOBJ, reading the first few things that show up (one of which is the PDF listed above), and then asking things that are a little more specific about what you're trying to accomplish. You probably got the assignment because of your Crystal Reports skills, which aren't much different from what you need to use Business Objects.

A pleasure.  I am happily working my way through sap-businessobjects/info tutorials on universes and learning a lot, so this is definitely the right approach!  I will also access the link you gave.
