Appointement taken in BlackBerry move 1 hours after in Outlook / Exchange 2003

Hi,

Since March 10, we need to change the hour (+1) because of Time Zone (Eastern -5). All time was automatically updated fine on the Server, workstation ..

When we setup a new appointment on the BlackBerry, we take the appointment and it move 1 hour after. If we take the appointment in Outlook, the Time appointment stay in the correct time and the black show the appointment in the correct time.

Everything else is working fine.

The Setup :
SBS 2003 Sp2 all the update applies
Exchange 2003 Sp2
BES 5.0.3
BlackBerry Torch

Any idea what I can update to have this resolve ?

Hi bmdgi,

Check the time zone on your BlackBerry. You'll find that it is either set to the wrong zone or isn't allowing for daylight savings.

Hope this helps,

Mike

Hi Mike,

we did the verification and the Black is in the Correct time zone.

Do you have another suggestion ?

Thanks,

Hi bmdgi,

Did you check the PC too?

Yes all is eastern

I have been experiencing the same issue on a different environment though.

Try the following things.

1)  Remove the MAPI CDO and install the latest version, available from

MAPI CDO Download (Oct 26 2011)

Remove the existing version and install this one.

2)  Update the CDO Timezone info as indicated below

Blackberry Registry Update

3) Blackberry Timezone Configuration Database update

Not sure if these will help, but its a starting point.
