Performace comparison between CFMX7 enterprise and CF9 Standard

We are faced with needing to upgrade (or at least run a latest version) of cf due to server O/S migration issues and enterprise licenses (even at upgrade price) are huge compared to CF9 standard. So I'm wondering if anyone has had experience going from CFMX7 enterprise fo CF9 standard, we're not doing anything special with the MX enterprise i.e. running just 1 instance of CF on our web servers.

"running just 1 instance of CF on our web servers."

There's no need at all for enterprise under that situation in most cases. Standard cf can and does run many cf sites at a time without issue.

Reasons to use enterprise:
1) clustering
2) server Monitor
3) Multiuser CFadmin (ie: for hosting service with multiple cf clients)
4) you've got more money than you know what to do with.

You also might look at Railo.org if you want to avoid licensing fees entirely. Unless you are using some of the more obscure cftags, railo is 100% compatible (and quite a bit faster than CF)
