SharePoint 2010 - Silverlight Web Part vs URL in HTML Form Web PartPage

I have created a SilverLight application that does not interact with any SharePoint 2010 objects.  I want to display this in a SharePoint page.  What would be the advantage of publishing the SilverLight app to SharePoint and using it as a SilverLight Web Part as opposed to just referencing the SilverLight app using a URL in a 'HTML Form Web Part.
Thanks in advance,
Terry

"The solutions and answers provided on Experts Exchange have been extremely helpful to me over the last few years. I wear a lot of hats - Developer, Database Administrator, Help Desk, etc., so I know a lot of things but not a lot about one thing. Experts Exchange gives me answers from people who do know a lot about one thing, in a easy to use platform." -Todd S.

Hi! I guess there is no special advantages of using SilverLight Webpart - it is just more convinient for the users who are not familar with HTML. I've looked inside Silverlight WP with decompiler and did not find anything interesting - just generation of HTML for silverlight player.

Hi Ivan,
Sorry about the delay.  Thank-you for the response.  If you don't mind can I ask how  you looked inside the SilverLight Webpart?  Reflector?
Thanks again,
