Does IBM x3650 comes with DB9 serial port (com1: ) ?
Nowadays laptops don't come with DB9 serial ports anymore but
USB ports. I've lost my USB to DB9 adaptor 2 years ago & don't
intend to get another one.
I have a pair of C3750X-48 switches mounted & just directly beneath
these switches are x3650 & x3850 servers. Do these servers still have
DB9 serial ports on them?
If there's DB9 port, can I just plug the light blue serial ribbon cable
that comes with Cisco switches from the switches' console port to
the DB9 ports & run Hyperterminal to access the switches' IOS/CatOS?
I've played the link you provided but there's no mention
about DB9 serial port; just that I noticed during the playback,
there's port in front of the server : it could be an SVGA video
port or it could be a DB9 port.

Does the x3850 also have this DB9 serial port?
