Apparently the mail profile setup using outlook on the same server sends the email as RTF - i changed the profile but no change. <br />

Running on Windows Server 2003 R2 - We have a legacy MAPI mail service which emails PDF reports outbound as attachments. The emails are being bounced back from a external reciepient because of two attachments winmail.dat and winpart.dat. I understand the message is being sent in rich text format and this is the underlying cause. Is there anyway I can change this mail to plain text? <br />

MAPI MAIL sends RTF can it be changed to plain text!
