reclaim MS vm space

Is there an easy way to reclaim space from a MS vm. I have already shrunk the size inside the vm.

just run Virtual Disk Wizard available in Virtual PC 2007. you may see details from the following discussion.

i know you can mount it there and compact but it doesn't give the space back when it was orginally shrunk
