ESX 4.1 DNS Configuration Grey Out
I would like to change the DNS settings from my vSphere client. I can only change the management IP address and subnet only but not default gateway and dns.
Is there any method to change it?
Please see that attached jpg file.

Are you logged in with the account with correct priviedge? Is there any chance for you to login to the Management Console instead to check?

I use the root account to login the vsphere client.
This is the best money I have ever spent. I cannot not tell you how many times these folks have saved my bacon. I learn so much from the contributors.

You will have to go to the physical server (use the screen provided & keyboard) and open the console there not via Management Console or SSH.
