Hello Experts,

I have configured one of my routers as a tftp servers with the following commands:

ip tftp source-interface Ethernet2/0
ip tftp source-interface Ethernet2/0
tftp-server system
tftp-server 192.168.1.1
tftp-server unix
tftp-server disk0
tftp-server nvram
tftp-server nvram:
tftp-server server

Basically, as you can see I've included everything, nonetheless when I try to use the router as the tftp server from another router I get the following message:

%Error opening tftp://192.168.1.1/dls2-confg (Permission denied)

I've seen this messgae before, but I can't remember how to resolve it.

Any help will be greatly appreciated

Cheers

Carlton

Try this command:

tftp-server flash:dls2-confg

(assuming dls2-confg is the name of the file you want to be able to download via tftp)

Hi Mark,

I tried your solution. I'm now getting the following error:

%Error opening tftp://192.168.1.1/dls2-confg (Socket error)

Any ideas?

Cheers
