Backup Exec Failure

Hi. I got another failure for Backup exec. I have checked and the devices are online, the services are running. Backup Exec 2010 on a Windows 2008R2 SP1.

Here is the rundown of the error:

Checked and devices are online. Services are running,

Verify- System?State System?StateStorage device "High-Rely Backup-to-Disk Folder" reported an error on a request to read data from media.

Error reported:

The system cannot find the file specified.

V-79-57344-33992 - The backup storage device has failed.

Event vwr shows that there are some B2D errors:

An error occurred while processing a B2D command.
 Drive: ReadMTFData() ReadFile failed (F:\VERITAS\B2D\B2D000475.bkf).  Error=2

An error occurred while processing a B2D command.
 Changer: LockAndRefreshChangerConfig() Unable to Lock Changer.cfg (F:\VERITAS\B2D\Changer.cfg).  Error=3

What? I'm assuming you mean exclude the B2D folder from Anti Virus scans? If so, does this mean that when a backup is running, and Verita starts a scan, it can interfere with the job if it starts scanning the backup folders? That's very interesting. I'll give this a shot.
