I've made changes to my registry and no longer have the original backup.  Is it possible to restore Win7 to the original installation, without losing programs already installed?

I furthest it shows is 1/24/2012.  OS was installed before that.  How can I go further.

You probably had too much data and it was pruning.

sounds like best way to go is to do a Windows 7 repair install.
