A free backup solution for windows and linux

Hi Experts,

Can any one recommend a good and easy to use open source backup software for windows and linux that can backup a file and directories on a central storage?

I heard rsync, but I find it very hard to implement especially when the admin is not good in linux.

hi,
I would like to suggest you "Amanda".
http://www.amanda.org/

You can install the backup server package in Linux box and you can take backup of Linux/windows after installing client packages in destination systems.

Just go thorough this:

One more very good software available but to configure that you need Linux stuffs.
However just go through this.
