How to access Remote Sql Lite Database through Android app

Hello,
I want to access Remote database in android app. i want to use Sql lite as Remote Database.
Pls guide.

create a web service (e.g. REST) to get access to remote db and use it to talk to db from Android device.

sqlite is serverless, so there is nothing to connect to.
