Best POE switch for Cisco 525G handsets?

Anyone recommend a POE switch for the Cisco 525G handsets? We tried a Catalyst 3550 but it did not work (phones would power but would not boot -- cycled in error mode).

This is for a RingCentral setup.

You should be able to use any switch that is compliant with the 802.3af spec.  A Cisco Catalyst 2960, 3560, or 3750 would work.  The fact that the phone powers on would indicate that POE is being supplied by the switch.  Are your phone system and phone VLAN settings all working?

We went with the SG200-08P.

PS -- the 3550 was working fine on the LAN side. Guess we just happened to pick the one POE switch that would not work.

The switch we picked is perfect for the small business.
