The owner of our company wants to share his Outlook 2007 contacts with his Assistant who uses Outlook 2003.  When I click on "Share Contacts" and try sending to the Assistant, I see a message "Error while preparing to send sharing message".

How can I share his contacts with her?

Thanks

That won't work between 2007 and 2003, you need to add his mailbox to her as a secundary mailbox and grant view permission on the root and the contact folder.

We were able to do it by going to his Outlook and adding her in the Sharing Permissions.

Thanks

We were able to share the contacts in Outlook 2003 from the owner's mailbox.
