Outlook contact name is reversed when adding title

Hello,

We are on Outlook 2010 with Exchange 2010.  In our personal contacts, when we edit the name of the contact to add a title (e.g. Mr.), then name becomes reversed.  So for instance, the name is intered as John Doe, when we click the Full Name button to add the title "Mr.", then the name gets changed to Mr. Doe John.

This does not happen when creating a new contact today.  The issue appears to happen on contacts that existed from when we were on Outlook 2003.  We migrated about 8 months ago.  The Exchange server was always 2010.

I'm not sure of your question but Outlook does have a setting to control that behavior.

That's what happened.  It defaults to Last First, so any names entered into the field are filed that way instead of First Last.  Confusing on why MS defaulted to this format.  Nonetheless, issue resolved.  Thanks!
