We run DNS zone integrated with AD (Windows 2008R2 SP2 DCs). The scavenging time is set to default 7 days.<br />
<br />
I have seen that DNS shows for 3 different A records the same IP. See the attached.<br />
<br />
nslookup also resolves the A record to 3 different IPs. <br />
<br />
When I try to RDP to the workstation via name I am being directed to a different workstation. <br />
<br />
For example <br />
<br />
workstation1 - IP 1.1.1.1<br />
workstation2 - IP 1.1.1.1<br />
workstation3 - IP 1.1.1.1<br />
<br />
RDP to workstation1 and I am being sent to workstation2 <br />
<br />
This is causing problems with SCCM since the server gets confused and it can not delivered the package that we are trying to push. <br />
<br />
Any ideas of what is going on and how to fix this problem?<br />
