I have a corporate Twitter account and occsionally post or tweet announcements about the company. It is a secured account, requiring followers to first get approval by my company's webmaster before allowing them to follow our tweets.

Is there a way to disable a viewers/followers ability to post a remark/reply to a tweet on my company's account? If so, how can this be done? I do not want anyone to be able to post comments or remarks, just read the tweet/announcement.

Thank you.

arendt73, i don't think you can disable people mention your company twitter account. By the way, you can't STOP anyone write any comment/remarks toward your company account. Protect your tweet account already the wiser way to prevent spammer to view your company tweets.
