Boy am I getting frustrated.  Sure hope you can help.

I've spent weeks trying to my blog to automatically post to Facebook.

(Searching EE isn't helping.  Evidently one can't rank search results by date.)

My question is simple.  Does anyone know of a highly rated plug-in that will automatically post a new blog post to Facebook.

I would like to post to a Facebook page; not just a profile.  And add at a thumbnail taken from post.

It would be nice the plugin also posted a Tweet.

Thanks.

P.S.  I have set up a Facebook App ID.  I've tried two or three plugins from Wordpress.  I don't want to mention which I've tried.  No sense trashing a plugin if it's my fault that it's not working.

Once I install a plugin you guys recommend, if it if still doesn't work ... I'll open a new question to see what I might be doing wrong.

The one I would use is:

http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-facebook-connect/

When you install it you will need to set up a Facebook API key per the instructions given and then you can enable the Publisher setting to post stuff to the Facebook page after you publish it on wordpress.

More info here:

Tweets are usually handled with a different plugin because you need to generate a different API key.  I use http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/simple-twitter-connect/
