Dear Experts,

we are using Exchange server 2003 with two cluster nodes, recently Exchange MS Search instance service was not restarting, it was effected with viruses and by mistake we deleted the ms serach instance file. due to this reason service  was failed,so we deleted the Exchange MS search Instance Service from the Cluster REsource. we have not re-created the Exchange Sreach Instance service after deletion.

does it effect our exchange cluster or Exchange mails, if we does not Re-Create it, what will be loss \ effect?

Here is an article on how to properly remove and reinstall the MS Search on Exchange 2003 in a cluster. This service is used to create full text indexes which in turn allow for faster searches through he mail store. If your organization is large enough to require a cluster, it is large enough to benefit from this as well.
